Bubbletop Foundry: About
Bubbletop was born out of the growing difficulty we all experience in trying to keep up-to-date with all the interesting stuff happening on the web, and eating up your time.
To tackle this information overload, we built a place where:
- You are the designer — organize/access/slice/re-slice/re-discover all the content you are interested in so that you can keep up-to-date in a fast and easy fashion.
- You are the insider — discover new stuff that you may actually fancy through the people that really matter to you: your friends and your like-minded peers.
However, you the widget developer are the architect too — creating new ways for other Bubbletop users to consume content that even we haven’t though of!
Bubbletop widgets bring new types of content to the Bubbletop platform in ways that we, the original programming team, haven’t thought of. In addition to accepting widgets written in our own specification format, we also accept widgets built for the iGoogle platform too.
